Vernon Gatling | Co-Head Institutional Fixed Income Capital Markets

Vernon Gatling focuses on providing capital raising advisory services to large public companies.  His target market is mostly comprised of large investment grade public debt issuers.

In addition to capital markets, Vernon brings over 20 years of experience that includes sales & trading, equity research, compliance, operations/clearance and management.

For most of his career, he has focused on debt (includes corporate, agency, ABS, preferred and municipal products) and equity origination.  The sectors covered include aerospace, auto, bank & finance, consumer, energy, insurance, industrial, municipal, TMT, and utilities. 

Vernon gained his experience from Telsey Advisory Group, Muriel Siebert & Co., Kaufman Bros., Toussaint Capital Partners and Blaylock & Partners.  At each of these firms, he was an integral contributor to the development of the overall firm and/or the development of the capital markets division from inception.  As such, Vernon played a significant role in the origination of over $600 billion in transactions across many product areas and sectors.

Vernon earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  He holds the Series 7, 24, 53, 63, 79 and 99 licenses.
