Chris Galloway | Board of Advisors

Chris Galloway is an Advisory Board Member with over 20 years of experience in banking, capital markets, Federal Bank Regulation, real estate private equity and management consulting with a focus on debt and equity offerings, structured products, mortgage-backed securities and risk management.

Mr. Galloway is a Management Consultant who advises some of the largest U.S. and International banks and financial institutions on investments and capital markets, valuation, portfolio management, securitization, enterprise risk management and controls.  Currently, Chris works at Guidehouse (Washington, D.C.) where he is responsible for business development in the firms’ Public Sector Financial Services Advisory Division.

Prior to consulting, Mr. Galloway served as a Federal Bank Regulator during the 2008 U.S. Financial Crisis where he was responsible for overseeing capital adequacy, asset quality, corporate governance, earnings, liquidity, market risk and risk mitigation strategies related to credit losses from mortgage-related securities.

Mr. Galloway began his career in banking at Citigroup where he held various roles as an Investment Banker in New York and London in mortgage-backed securities, mergers & acquisitions, treasury, real estate private equity and internal audit. 

Chris also serves as an Advisory Board Member at TRE Lodging Investors, LLC, a Houston, Texas based distressed hotel and lodging fund.

He received a Master of Business Administration Degree in Finance and International Business from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations from the University of Virginia.
